Once upon a time, I too had a heart..... :)

I woke up in the night at two
And found that I was missing you.
It was a feeling I never had known
How my love for you had grown….

I thought about you till it was dawn
How far a distance I had gone
In search of love I never got
Seemed to me the time had clot….

Loneliness is all I have
I need you so much dear!
I don’t care what the world says
Yes! I don’t have any fear…

Is this love a friendly foe?
Would it set me free and let me go?
For why do I love you? I don’t know
All I know is my love, eternal, immortal…

It’s your sweet face I find everywhere
In the books, on the walls, amidst the thoroughfare
For it's you, who is always on my minds
In my thoughts, in my dreams, in my moist eyes…

You gave life to “my life”
When it sent a dismal sheen
It was you who caused my heart to beat
An emotion I hadn’t seen….

It’s better to die if my life’s bereft you
I need you so much dear!
I couldn’t speak my heart out, am helpless.
But I hope you would listen to my beckoning heart
